I write on the road, in cafes and restaurants, in airports and train stations, but this is where I do my staring at the wall, my dreaming of far off places. 

WHAT IS A MOA?

I have been questioned by a number of people regarding the title of my blog. While I trust anyone reading should understand what the term ‘soaring’ refers to, moa are a mystery to many. Allow me to briefly educate those who are interested.

There are any number of brilliant and quotable men and women who have sat at their medium of choice and searched their inner selves for the perfect opening words with which to break the ice. Luckily for me, I am under no illusion that anyone will ever read this beyond those few I beg for opinions, so I am freed from the constraint of needing to be either brilliant or quotable.
